QuietMatrix RIS is a Rebar Isolation Sleeve and it ensures that the rebar does not create an unwanted sound bridge. It is applied when the project requires the floating concrete slab to be structurally tied to adjacent non-isolated structures, such as curbs or other concrete floors.
Various RIS options are available and fit any rebar size. We assist the structural engineer with the design to ensure acoustical and structural performance of this system.
